Alice and Dan were married in September, choosing an outdoor wedding with family and friends from around the world.

This fabulous couple, originally from a local hamlet here in Yorkshire, travelled from the Falkland Islands to celebrate with an outdoor, registrar-led ceremony and the most stunning stretch tent to accommodate their 80 guests.  Alice and Dan choose to take exclusive hire of the glamping site to allow their visiting guests to enjoy an extended break in the Yorkshire Dales.

The whole day was designed to celebrate the coming together of northern and southern hemispheres, marking their union and bringing together families from opposite sides of the globe.  Their theme was wild beaty, choosing a setting where their passion for working and living in the great outdoors created the backdrop for a glamorous day of celebrations.

Little Seed Field provided on day wedding coordination, with all other elements being chosen by the couple (with UK based help from Alice’s Mum).  Unfurl Photography was chosen to capture their day, and the photographs are styled beautifully to match and capture the beauty of the wild Yorkshire landscape.  The pictures of Alice and Dan out on the heather moor remain some of our all-time favourites, they are simply stunning.

It always feels more special (and slightly more pressure) when a local family choose our venue to host their celebrations.  This wedding was one of our first in our larger, outdoor setting and we are so very grateful for the trust placed in us by Alice and Dan.
