Gemma and CJ were married in July, choosing a DIY, festival theme wedding with a marquee, 40 guests and two gorgeous spaniels!  They chose our venue after visiting our glamping site and falling love with the setting.

This fabulous couple took DIY to the letter of its meaning – even making their own cable reel tables, signs, bar, giant Mrs and Mrs signs and matching denim jackets!

The couple chose to take exclusive hire of the glamping site, staying on site for two nights.  Their registrar-led ceremony took place in the Owl Barn, followed by a sunflower themed afternoon of garden games, food and music by the pond.  They chose a DIY bar and all their own suppliers, bringing many of them with them from their local town and using the skills of family and friends to keep the celebration personal and bespoke to them.

On day wedding coordination was provided by Little Seed Field.  Stephanie Dreams Photography was chosen to capture their day and their photo’s ooze sunshine vibes and festival feels!  

Gemma and CJ were looking for a venue where they could celebrate with their closest friends and family (and their dogs).  Somewhere they could make their own and create a day completely bespoke to them.  Somewhere they felt connected to.

From their emotional first look, through to the evening dancing in the rain, this wedding was full of smiles and fun and joy.  It was such a pleasure to host, and we hope that we continue to welcome Gemma and CJ back for many anniversaries to come!
